FOR THOSE WHO ARE ATTENDING OUR SUMMIT (LUCKY YOU!)...
Professional Development training events organized by professional companies can cost about RM300-RM500 per teacher. This is because renting venues, hiring facilitators and speakers and providing facilities and equipment by the organizers can be costly. At GEG, we always strive to keep our events FREE OF CHARGE and our GEG of JOHOR EDUCATION SUMMITs are no different. In order to to keep our organizing cost at a minimum and to provide equal and free training experience to all of our participants, we would appreciate it if you can keep these few points in mind;
- BYOD (BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE)
- We may not be able to provide everyone with rent-able devices. So, bringing one of your own (and any extra for a peer who don't have any) will help make your learning experience more rewarding and fruitful. Everyone would love you for it!
- BYOWIFI (BRING YOUR OWN WIFI)
- Renting a High Bandwith, Commercial-Use Wifi can be extremely expensive for us. As most of our training and sharing sessions are internet connection dependent, we would encourage you to bring your own hotspot or broadband to lessen our public internet traffic.
- INFORM ANY CANCELLATIONS
- As there are no registration fee to the summit, we expect massive number of registrations though we can only have limited number of places for our participants. While we do encourage you to register as soon as you can, if you found out that you wont be able to attend the event as the event's date draws closer, do let us know and we will free up your place for another participant. This will be extremely helpful for us and a fellow participant.
- BE KIND, SHARE & SOCIALIZE
- The best training experience during the summit may not necessarily come from us, but it might come from a fellow teacher you're bound to meet and work with during the summit. So, go around, expand your social circle and learn something from someone who faces the same challenges you do in his/her school!
